I’m a Minnesota-based entrepreneur with a passion for business growth and operational excellence, looking to acquire and continue the legacy of a successful business. I’m driven by a deep commitment to helping businesses thrive and have dedicated my career to understanding the ins and outs of what makes a company successful.

A Strong Foundation in Finance and M&A
I graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Finance, launching my career as an investment banking analyst in middle-market sell-side M&A. This role gave me the unique opportunity to understand small businesses from the ground up—working with owners to prepare their companies for sale, conducting financial valuations, analyzing market trends, and helping craft the perfect exit strategy. This experience laid the groundwork for my passion in working with business owners during critical transitions, like selling their business.

Hands-on Operational Experience
To further develop my understanding of how businesses function and grow, I moved into a role at Cargill, one of the largest privately held companies in the world. This experience allowed me to manage diverse teams and lead innovative software implementations that solved real-world business problems. My journey then took me to Techstars, a venture capital accelerator program, where I worked alongside emerging startups in the food and agriculture industry, providing hands-on support to their founders in everything from financial modeling to marketing strategy.

Scaling a Tech Startup
Through my work at Techstars, I met Traive, an agricultural fintech startup, and became their first employee. Over the past 5+ years, I’ve had the unique opportunity to grow alongside the company, which now boasts over 120 employees. I’ve played a key role in our operational success and strategic growth, leading complex, cross-functional projects without predefined leadership. From managing product development, overseeing software implementation (including ERP systems like Netsuite), to developing company-wide operational systems (like EOS), I’ve built a career on adaptability, leadership, and problem-solving.

Revenue Operations & Strategic Leadership
Most recently, I’ve transitioned to building and leading Traive’s Revenue Operations and Business Operations departments, collaborating with our Chief Sales Officer to add data-driven processes to our sales organization. By implementing tools like HubSpot and creating hundreds of reports to track and communicate key metrics, I’ve ensured that Traive’s sales, marketing, and customer success teams are all aligned and operating efficiently.
